Tribute to Motion Design: Shapes, Rhythm & Visual Memory.

As a freelance motion designer based in Rennes, I wanted to create a personal project — a tribute to my craft. A self-initiated exploration, free from client briefs, where I could bring together the fundamentals of graphic design, movement, and visual abstraction.

Animation motion design inspirée du Bauhaus avec formes géométriques colorées et typographie graphique

A personal project at the crossroads of Bauhaus and graphic animation.

This animation is the result of several influences: the geometric codes and primary colors of the Bauhaus movement, the grammar of motion graphics, and the desire to freeze a moment in the history of a constantly evolving profession. Here, shapes come to life like memories, in a fluid and meditative loop.

Motion graphics: between Bauhaus aesthetics and contemporary design.

Motion design is not just a profession, it is a visual language. In this 2D animation project, each graphic element was designed as a signal: square, circle, triangle, typographic grid. The graphic animation reveals the tension between stability and transformation. It is a way of making visible what we no longer notice: the pulse of design in our daily lives.

Based in Rennes, Brittany, I have been working with studios, brands, and institutions for over 10 years, creating animated videos and motion design content. This personal project has allowed me to take a step back and look at my own career with a fresh perspective. It reflects my high standards in terms of graphics, my technical rigor, and my attachment to a form of visual art rooted in the history of design.
