3D Monsters & Character Design.

Playful monsters? Absurd avatars? It doesn't matter: they are graphic identities.
Every detail—an oversized eye, a naive mouth, a shiny earring—tells a story. No realism: just style, contrast, and visual appeal.

From geometry to visual storytelling.

It all starts with a simple shape: sphere, cylinder, torus. Assembled in Cinema 4D, transformed using Volume Builder, textured in Redshift, these modules become characters.

That’s what character design is all about: playing with codes to create instant emotion.

An educational approach rooted in production.

These creations are born in class. I develop them alongside my teaching modules at design school, where I introduce students to:

  • Simple organic modeling through the assembly of primitives,
the exploration of stylized textures with Redshift, the construction of animated loops that are readable, engaging, and ready for digital use.
  • Teaching 3D also means producing exemplary, visually powerful content that can live outside the classroom.

Strong universes for varied uses.

These characters are fictional, but their potential is very real. Good character design, even pop and stylized, can:

  • Bring a mascot or avatar to life.
  • Embody a digital campaign (social media, events, motion).
  • Serve as a short and effective narrative for communication or training.

Above all, they offer a flexible and creative alternative to traditional photo shoots: no logistical constraints, just a clean, impactful, and 100% controlled result.

These projects show how teaching 3D character design can combine technique, creativity, and storytelling. They are designed to inspire other schools, trainers, and institutions that wish to:

  • Integrate Cinema 4D into their programs.
  • Explore the creation of stylized 3D characters.
  • Develop short, visually strong workshops that students can benefit from.
