A lively loop combining humor, minimalism, and graphic balance.
This looping animation follows this dual logic: playing with shapes and textures while serving as a visual teaching aid. A sort of absurd tribute to terrazzo, marble, and impossible balance.
When motion design flirts with the absurd and visual engineering.
A terrazzo semicircle floats above a speckled black sphere, which itself rests on marble slabs and a turquoise cylinder.
Everything seems unstable. And yet, everything holds together.
That’s what motion design is all about: finding the balance between pure creativity and technical mastery. And in this minimalist composition, each material becomes a player. Each movement, a breath.
A training resource, but also a manifesto.
I also used this animation to illustrate my lessons on:
- Creating clean loops in After Effects.
- Using stylized textures and materials.
- Visual rhythm in short animations.
It shows that personal content can also have an educational dimension and become a lever of credibility with students, brands, and agencies.
Any advice for young designers ?
Never underestimate the power of a personal project.
This is often where the clearest ideas, the strongest styles, and the most unexpected collaborations are born.
